Doing stuiff now!

Victory in Liverpool is a young church with a global vision to reach out beyond our borders to the nations of the world. We have chosen to partner with Victory in Singapore to start new Churches & help with community projects.
But how do we do it?
We've started by giving in faith. It's been exciting as Victory’s members believe God for the resources to give and send. It’s no real surprise, He really does supply.

Right now, helping in Chennai India

Victory in Liverpool is supporting a pioneer church in Chennai, India. A team of volunteers from Singapore arrived in late 2010. They’ve connected to over 30 people with 12 in discipling. Weekly Connect Groups and a Sunday service have already been established. Some exciting developments already.

In 2010, helping pioneer in Suva Fiji [South Pacific]

Before that, in Dec 2009 team of volunteers from Singapore and New Zealand arrived in Suva to also pioneer a new church. Again Victory in Liverpool under-wrote some of the costs. God was with the team & they had tremendous success. A vibrant church been established in Suva, along with 3 outreach churches.

In Timor Leste in 2008 - 2009

Again partnering with VFC Singapore we’ve seen a new church planted in Manatuto District, Timor Leste.
It’s a very needy part of the world with limited running water and electricity, unemployment is extremely high and schooling very basic. But the Timorese have a vision for more. So we partnered with them for a bright future.

We want to sending teams out

Very soon, Victory will be providing the opportunity for its members to be involved in overseas church planting missions. They can do this by volunteering to give one year of their lives to the Lord by serving in another country. What an exciting adventure to embark on.
Initially we link with Victory Singapore and other Victory network churches around the globe to see the missions vision fulfilled.

How does it work?

Teams of young people travel with a mature couple, live in a city environment and establish a new church. After one year the team returns home while the leaders stay on three or more years to get that work consolidated and leaders raised up.
By the end of 2011, over 8,000 churches in 85 nations will have been raised up. Many of these were pioneered by this combination of local volunteers and longer term leaders.
The missions work is financially underwritten by Victory’s Mission Faith Pledge giving.
This is a very exciting way of fulfilling the “Great Commission” within the context of the local church.

Mat 28:19 [NET] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember,
I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Let’s go!
